Welcome to another

Join the fun and read our snippets.
For Valentine’s Day, I’m
offering you a romantic snippet from my novella, Captured by the Hawk. In this
fun space operetta, pirate Black Hawk dresses like a ninja and absolutely no
one sees his face. Of course, our feisty heroine is determined to uncover his
identity during their misadventures. Here, they have crashed in a lake after
escaping from a wrecked spaceship.
Her clothes sodden and
cold, Katrina sprawled on coarse sand. She had a dim recollection of being
dragged onto the shore. Strangely, someone was murmuring her name repeatedly
and kissing her face. She flicked her eyes open; Black Hawk’s masked face
hovered over her. The clinging wet cloth outlined the chiseled contours of his
hidden face. His head covering was askew, revealing a triangle of forehead and
his black curls. The effect fascinated her.
He breathed, “Katrina,
you’re alive!”
“Barely alive,” she
groaned, relaxing with her head propped on his arm.

the Hawk is FREE today:
Next week, I’ll start on
my new superhero romance.
As always, your comments
